I found a fantastic resource this afternoon in the library, and it is available online. It is a bibliography of everything you ever wanted to know about ancient Israel, Babylon, Egypt, and a corcopia of studies related to the interpretation and translation of the Hebrew Bible.
It's indexed, too! Wow. Hupper, William G. An Index to English Periodical Literature on the Old Testament and Ancient Near Eastern Studies.ATLA bibliography series. Vol. 2 [electronic resource] / compiled and edited by Willliam G. Hupper. [Philadelphia] : American Theological Library Association ; Metuchen, N.J.: Scarecrow Press, 1987. E-book at netLibrary

It should be accessible at a library.

Also, I've found that most of the articles in the bibliography are avialable online through JSTOR.
