Also from a dream Cannabis is also in the Quran:
Kafur (= cannabis - Sweet smelling, yet not henna as it isn't pleasant to drink) and Zanjabil (ginger) we sit on couches and drink.... is it just me or is that made in tea by many Rasta....also both have many healing properties.... Also unsure without help globally (Arabic), yet sure i heard that the fake religion has no herbage in the Quran...that’s funny when you take into account, almost every religion is based on Cannabis, when you take a deeper look at old customs and traditions.

Also, it is a very common meditation practice for the Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism and other Tibetan Buddhists. Besides this Ganja stuff, I want to clarify some stuff I said before about Rasta. Since I think I missed the concept a little bit. Rastafarians is not a right term, they like to be called Rastafari in general, no such thing as Rastafarians, but Rastafari people. They wear dreadlocks and beard like the Nazarenes, and they are vegetarians. Tafari was the prince of Ethiopia, "Ras" equals "Prince", so it was "Prince Tafari" - "Ras Tafari" - "Rastafari". He was later crowned in Ethiopia as "King of Kings, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, His Imperial Majesty Hailie Selassie I", because he was of the blood lineage of King Solomon (really). Rastafari was very famous for his words in front of the league of nations, were he inspired the nations to support Ethiopia, and was one of the first people to inspire the liberation of black slaves all over the Globe. The speach was later recompiled in the famous song "War" by Bob Marley, were he performs the entire unchanged speech of Emperor Hailie Selassie I in front of the league of nations (I love this speech, is very inspiring): "What life has taught me. I would like to share with those who want to learn... Until the philosophy which hold one race superior and another inferior, Is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned; everywhere is war, me say war. That until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation. Until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes Me say war. That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all, without regard to race; Dis a war. That until that day, the dream of lasting peace, world citizenship, rule of international morality. Will remain in but a fleeting illusion to be persued, but never attained. Now everywhere is war, war. And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique, South Africa sub-human bondage. Have been toppled, utterly destroyed Well, everywhere is war, me say war. War in the east, war in the west, War up north, war down south. War, war, rumours of war. And until that day, the African continent will not know peace, we Africans will fight. We find it necessary and we know we shall win as we are confident in the victory Of good over evil, good over evil" "War" by Bob Marley Haile Selassie I gave this speech calling for world peace at the 1963 U.N. Conference in New York City. |

also, i missed the fact that Rastafari is not a religion, but a way of life.

Marijuana actually works wonders in the medical field, from a powerful non-narcotic, non-addictive pain reliever, blood pressure reduction, many people with glaucoma keep there vision by smoking marijuana (from reducing blood pressure in the eyes), and recent studies have shown it can help stimulate brain cell regrowth. I'm sure there are many more undiscovered medical uses for marijuana. Industrial purposes, using hemp, several different products can be manufactured, from paper, clothing, rope, jewelry, and other purposes. Economically, the effects would be enormous. Jails would not be over populated, some experts predict crime rate would decrease, thousands if not millions of new jobs would be created, the extra amount of income the government would generate from taxes could fuel dozens of programs, from health insurance to social security. Allthough I do like alot of the Rastafarian philosophies, I have not bothered to pick up that path. One reason being, I have heard you have to be of African heritage to be considered a true Rasta.
