I will first admit I'm very naive towards this subject so spare me.
Anyway, I know Sunnis and Shias and every other Muslim out there believe that the Tawrat(Torah) was altered over a period of time. What is the basis of this claim? Is there any proof of this in the Qur'an? Objectivly can we prove that the Torah has been altered over time? Peace! |

Quote:
that is not from the quran, but it is a teaching of a prophet in the old testament, a teaching theoretically accepted by jews, christians, and muslims. jews and christians should also accept that the torah has been altered, unless they believe this passage was an alteration: "Even the stork in the skyknows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration. But my people do not know the requirements of the Lord. “ ‘How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law(torah) of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have?" peace

The quran mentions manipulation in various ways such as false informants to those who are not informed in chapter 2.
I do not think the tauraat of the quran has anything to do with the Torah of the Jews. There are some quranists who believe that. |
