Hmmm, interesting!
I wonder what they will come up with. This would be indeed a radical change to suit secular needs of course in the first place, because it appear to me to be the first motivator for them to go on in this project.

well, perhaps. i see it as a remarkable step in the right direction. it's true that many hadith have and continue to cause confusion and disharmony within Islam, and between Muslims and non-Muslims. a revision or re-approaching of the texts would, imo, be a good move, and a means to get some intellectual fresh air. God guides whom He will, and nothing can put out the light of God's truth.
