I better have gotten this. Though question five was not right.

Since you have fifty socks of five colors you have ten socks of each color. If you pick ten socks you could have ten of one color. Also if you have eight pairs of shoes of 4 diffrent colors then you have two of each color. Therefore if you get six pairs you could have 3 colors at least but if you get five you also have three colors at least. So the answer that the quiz considered correct (6 shoes and 10 socks) was not sufficent. Also the question assumes that the sock colors are the same as the shoe colors and that the colors are distributed in equal proporitions. So the truly correct answer should be "none of the above." The question cannot be solved with the information given. It rests on unproven assumptions.
