scroll down to bottom of page to see mrs donovan. I tried to find information about her life but the apd website didn't have much. I think a co-worker told me she was married but he wasn't sure. If I find out more I will post it. She and her partner were in prusuit of a suspect. She was on foot and her parnter in the cruiser. Her partner accidently hit her at night and killed her. I just felt a need to put her here ..since there was so little info on the net....if you pray could you slip a nice word in for her? thank you. |

While you are at it, you should pray for her partner as well - she will now have that emotional scar to carry. I can only imagine how she feels now.

good point her partner was a male but his name is not being advertised. It was mentioned in a newscast but I didn't see the newscast.

The article I read said that she was patrolling with another woman officer - one she had just graduated from the police academy with. Either way, that individual needs all the help they can get right now.

My prayers and thoughts go out to Officer Donovan and her family. Also, to the officer who hit her.

Not to deviate from the topic, but was the second to last officer, Earl Hall, really killed in the line of duty as the title suggests? Says he died from a heart attack at a meeting... Hardly the action we like to see in the movies, huh :/
