A prayer request (Jesus Christ, beliefs, Holy Spirit, bless, religious leader)

My mom is dying of cancer. She told everyone that she wanted to be home, and be made comfortable until it is time for her to go. She is barely there anymore. I am asking for prayers that her time will come as painlessly as possible, and that her children will have the strength to keep her home like she asked. Some think she should be in a hospital. Hospice comes out once a day. She used to work as a nurse, and decided a long time ago that she wanted to die at home and with dignity. Please pray for strength for everyone. For peace for her. And also peace and strength for my 7 y/o daughter. She is taking this very hard and refuses to even talk about Grandma, she does understand what is going on but refuses to talk to anyone about it.

This Lady lived how she wanted and she will die as she wants to. Please pray for everyone.

Dear Sister, my heart goes out to your Mother, to you and your entire family. I pray that her transition from this life to the afterlife will be easy. I do not know what your beliefs are and I'm not imposing my beliefs on you but just to tell you what I think --- we are not only physical beings, our real nature is spirit which is part of God. God will always look out for your Mother. This world is really not our home we're just passing through for a short while. Please tell your mother to send feelings of love to her body. Our cells are living entities that can feel the healing power of love. I know that you might not believe this but I heard someone ( a religious leader) say the other day that when someone has cancer, they burn away about ten times more karma than an ordinary person will in his or her lifetime. Tell your daughter that her Grandma will just exist in a different form, it's not that she will be completely gone. Tell her that she can still send her love to her and she will receive it.

Awww, I'm sorry. I know how you feel. My little brother was 5 when his grandpa died and he was really close to him. We were lucky that my brother maintained a positive attitude after the death and occasionally shouts up to the sky to grandpa. I hope your daughter can still feel the same connection with her.

I am sorry Candi; my Mum died of cancer. All I can say is that I pray that your Mum is hopefully without pain...........

It is hard for the family to watch a loved one die, but with terminal cancer, one can only hope the end will be pain-free, and sooner rather than later.
