In loving you I've come to find
Laughter, joy and peace of mind Over all this I've come to see Visions of how much better I'll be Every dream I have at night Every thought by waking light Makes me glad you came to me In marriage for eternity Love is sweet, and now I'm sure You are mine, and I am yours --Frubals to anyone who can figure out the title of this poem! |

We have a winnah! Frubals on your head, JFL!
Yes, Emily is my wife, and we both love puzzles, so I wrote this as an acrostic. Acrostics are tough for an old-school poet like me, because I refuse to do free verse unless it's really warranted. As Robert Frost said, "Writing free verse is like playing tennis with the net down." Everyone, please join me in sprinkling frubals on JFL. All together now! ![]() Last edited by DeepShadow; 05-11-2005 at 08:04 AM. |
