What A Week... (pray, Lord, prayer)

Hey y'all well it is about 1 a.m. and I'm still not officially "back" but I can't sleep at all. Today I was hit with some news - 2 bits of bad news, actually. First, my last grandparent passed away. She was only 67.
2nd, that my mom just got kicked out of her house because she couldn't afford it
(p.s. she's REALLY bad with money) and I have no way of contacting her because
a) she's 2,500 miles away
b) she apparently doesn't have a phone
and most importantly,
c) I have no clue where she even is. I tried to find out from relatives but nobody seems to know.
I'm a bit worried, especially since she has my younger brother and sister with her...wherever she is. And she apparently just lost her mom and her house all in the same week, so I imagine she's feeling pretty lousy.

Would appreciate a few kind prayers/thoughts her way. Her name is Ruth.

I have an update.

I finally got a hold of my mom. It turns out she and my little siblings are all crammed into this dumpy little 2 bedroom mobile home in a trailer park. She didn't have any money so the guy said she could live there and pay him later. So I guess she's lucky to be there, but she says the place is a rat hole. She said she was sleeping on the couch and she felt the roof leaking on her face, plus when they moved in there were dead cockroaches on the floor - now they have an ant problem and the fridge isn't working - and the manager won't fix it until she pays him rent. She has a bad infection in her leg so she can't work very much and is planning to go on disability.

My uncle gave her a little money and she is supposed to inherit more from my grandma, which she thinks will be enough to move out of there. I asked if there was anything I could do to help but she said probably not. My husband has said we can take my little sister (the youngest) to live with us, but I haven't brought that up to her yet.

So my mom is still feeling pretty bad but she's taking it better than I expected. I actually think it's good for my little sibs because my sister is rather materialistic and my brother's a total snob. He doesn't hang around there much because he said the place was "too ghetto."
