Please pray for my friend Maegan (Jesus, Kingdom, God, prayer)

My Friend Maegan recently (Oct 22/2004) given her heart to Jesus and has turned away from drinking,sex and drugs. I fear however that she may be slipping back, I do pray for her and my door is always open to her but I don't know if it's enough. She recently slipped and went and got high with some friends of hers. She is moving away from us (we all live in Ontario Canada) she is moving to Alberta Canada and I fear she will slip back into her old life once she leaves. Your prayers and support would be much appreciated as she needs to know God is with her and wants her to stay on fire for him and not slip back into her old sinful ways.

Though I don't believe actions are sinful, simply healthy or unhealty, wise or not, I will be praying for her. Hopefully, it being to several different gods and goddesses is okay.

Wow, can you really put a date on something like that?? Very interesting. May the spirits be with her, and let her do what is meant to happen.

I will say a prayer for your friend Maegan; that she does whatever is right for her.
There is something that I think you need to understand though; we can only be resposible for our own actions - not those of others (Even if we think they are doing something badly wrong). It is all part of the 'learning curve of life'. Sometimes we have to go through really 'bad' patches for a purpose.

I understand your concerns; but you would do better by just 'being yourself' - if you speak to her, tell her that if she choses that sort of life, that is up to her - that it is not 'right' for you. This is all about 'you can lead a horse to water......".

I will say a prayer for you too; this must be a awful time for you.

While I do not believe those actions are sinful, I will certainly pray that she will decide what is good for her and have the strength to stick with it! I also pray for you, that you will love her no matter what she chooses.

I pray that Maegan will find the strength to return to Jesus. Here are some words from one of my favorite hymns that may give you some comfort...a reminder that Jesus will welcome her when she is ready.
