Seasons - A poem thrown together by Draka
Seasons
Seeds are planted Life springs anew The glorious green Under sky brilliant blue Refreshing cool breezes The warm beaming sun Floral scents in the air Spring has begun Days growing longer Nature in full motion The heat of the Sun The pulse of the ocean Everything vibrant Earth in its prime Life’s at its peak Summer’s the time Cool days ahead Leaves start to fall They blanket the Earth Nature’s colorful shawl The harvest, the crops, The feast that they bring All are the signs that Autumn’s in full swing The nights grow longer A chill resonates in the air As the snow begins to fall Tis the season to share A hope for peace on Earth Good will to women and men With all this love you know Winter’s here again Forever turning ‘round The Wheel of the Year Seasons so different Like a laugh to a tear Life is like these seasons From beginning to the end So whenever you feel lonely Remember Earth, your constant friend

Well, considering I just got this urge to write a poem out of nowhere for my mother at Yule time, it was sort of thrown together. I tried to think of what to write about, looked outside at the snow and thought..." the changing of the seasons". Took me about 15 to 20 minutes from the time I decided to write to finish and ... poof...poem. Not the best of my writings, but not too shabby I think.

Wonderful... some lines didn't flow too well, but not a problem at all.
 I'm just a stickler for those things, so don't take my criticism to heavily. My favorite quatrains were the last two. Well done.

Thanks Feathers and no offense taken MV. I admitted that it was thrown together so I am sure that there are some areas that might not flow too well
