Actually, from the point of the OP I have far more anti-heroes than heroes. I remember far more the people who influenced my thinking to oppose their ideas and agendas than those whose ideas and agendas I admired and wanted to follow.

I wouldn't say "hero" per- say but I admire Benjamin Franklin as one of the most brilliant men in history.
