The link did say it had tested the machines in 1998, and unless I'm mistaken there wasn't a looming crises back then (I refuse to call Clinton's affair a crises
 ). If I was drafted (which would be likely since I'm in the age range and have no medical problems) I'd probably become a conscientious objector.

I'm already an anarchist (in the "without govt." sense), and being from NZ the likelihood of a draft is slim to none... there's been no draft here since... the Korean war I think... possibly Vietnam but I doubt it. All American initiated armed maggeddon's, might I add, but in the last 60 years that's probably 68% of the armed conflict on our tiny planet anyway.
