Bosnia and Malaysia, up in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!

It's a joke, of course, but since the war and genocide in Bosnia, the country has formed many new relationships with other states in the Islamic world. One of these states is Malaysia, and Bosnia's relationship with Malaysia is one of the most financially valuable the country has.

This week, the King and Queen of Malaysia were in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a two-day vacation, to tour Sarajevo and see the sights and sounds of a city they largely helped rebuild.

Of the most notable contributions of Malaysia in Sarajevo are the Bosnia-Malaysia City Center, the first condominiums in this part of the world and the tallest buildings in Southeast Europe (they were not applicable during the communist era).

Also, the Malaysia Mosque in Dobrinja. It is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful foreign-built mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Malaysia is a model Islamic country which tolerate freedom of religion as well as accomodate a multi-racial society. Sometimes, tension may develop (thanks to the old master left behind problem by their cunning divide and rule). Overall Malaysia is a beautiful country with good natural resources, and has been managed reasonably well, and is a country willing to help others.
