Which only outlines one of the problems with the entire notion of political parties. Politicians don't really represent their constituents. They represent the interests of the political party they belong to.

One wonders how our system would work if there were no political parties. I'm sure we'd still have self-serving politicians (we always have, eh?) but what else might change?

To change perspective for a moment: Do you think something created that is destined to die is going to be happy that its death is wasted? That it died for no reason? I don't think the embryos have a soul or consciousness or whatever you want to call it, but if they indeed did I can imagine they'd be pretty ****** if their entire existence which was never going to wind up going past an embryonic stage was wasted sitting in a freezer when they could have helped people.

Or they could find it ****** that they were denied the opportunity to be what they are...human beings in the embryonic stage of life... meant to reside in the warm confines of a WOMB instead of a freezer.

I'm not going to give the thumbs up to something that upsets me greatly. I don't believe that embryos should even be created unless they're going to be implanted and given a go at life.

As far as I'm concerned...there shouldn't be embryos to either destroy or use for research.
