I saw in a documentary Richard Dawkins interviewing a guy who had been a secular Jew from New York but converted to Islam and moved to the middle east and he made the comment....

"If there was no "State of Israel", there would have been no 9/11"

I think the guy is talking crap, but what do you think?
Is there any truth in this statement, none at all, completely true?

... I don't know. I'm not sure this "war" is about Israel for the people at the top directing it. I think the propaganda on the Islamic side of the recruitment probably features Israel heavily because it's easy to get Arabic people riled up over. I honestly think the Palestinians have a genuine beef with the way Israel is treating them.

So yeah, he's probably right in the sense it would have been difficult to get kamikaze's who were motivated enough to do that.

As far as i know bin laden's reason to attack USA in 9/11 was because of Palestine in the first place so i googled it and have got some info. about it.

I think he's probably right. There would have been no 9/11.

It probably would have been 10/19 or maybe 04/23.

I reckon that without Israel, 9/11 would have happened much sooner since militants in the Middle East would not have had somebody so close to target. If Israel was dissolved and all Western troops were removed from the Middle East, terrorism against the West would still happen so I feel it is more of an excuse rather than a reason.
