I really don't understand the need for one.

Actually not a bad idea...only don't make the mines so lethal. Then, pile the injured bodies in El Presidente Fox's front yard so he can have a daily reminder how bad he's failed his people.

We don't know much of anything about what they do or don't do, because the Bush administration has decided that Halliberton doesn't need to account for the billions of dollars they have been given.

So, oh defender of the maligned and victimized rich, why don't you tell us what Halliberton has done with the billions of dollars they have been given. Keep in mind that this is BILLIONS of dollars, not just hundreds of millions. Why haven't they managed to get basic electrical and sewer services up and running in Iraq after years and billions of dollars?

It's far more likely that they bought off a bunch of politicians, or simply became politicians themselves (Cheney) and then sent themselves huge piles of money. That seems to be the way big business works these days in America.

I think it's ridiculous! I mean all in all that's just like building anotehr Great Wall of China. I understand that illegal immigrants are crossing the border into the US, but that's going a little too far. There's always going to be a problem keeping one party on the other side of the line. The only thing that worries me is that if someone crosses the border with plans to harm anyone. If they're just coming with no intention of that, then it doesn't really matter to me. Some could just simply want a better life. The government should do the best they can to keep it under control. America has more important issues to worry about.
