I heard about it while listening to the BBC. I then did a Google search for a newstory on it, and the story wasn't being widely reported. The only other site I found carrying it at the time was an anti-ACLU site.

Are you happy with the 'blanket cover' way the US army have treated suspected terrorists Darkdale ? I am sure this is a difficult one, but to leave these guys (however much they deserve it) in isolation for years is not exactly 'best practice', don't you think ?

It depends how much of a threat the military feels they are. I think we need to be cautious though... whatever we do to our enemies is fair game for them to do to us. Though, we don't treat our enemies that way. We don't cut off their heads or target women and children. But... that doesn't put us at too much of a disadvantage. I honestly don't think they'd care if we did.
