Patriotism simply means having the courage to stand up for your own liberty and the liberty of your friends. Liberals tend to be lacking in the courage department. They also tend to be disinterested in liberty or security or power or wealth. Conservatives like liberty, security, power and wealth. We want all these things for America. Liberals tend to dislike conservatives for that very reason. I'm not too worried though. Liberalism is a cancer. It kills it's host. I think America will remain resistant to it for a good long time, because most Americans share a distaste for government and excessive laws. Of course, you never know. I am constantly surprised how much conservatives are willing to put up with from their representatives and how naive they are about their representatives intentions.

I understand why you feel that way, but liberals have done nothing, to my mind, that has been in support of America; of American liberty, wealth, power or security. Liberals seem to side with the terrorists on everything except for the actually killing. I don't think liberals think terrorism is good. I think liberals and terrorists share similar politics. I see them as being political allies.
