Should we start collecting Red Cross packages for the natives?

From about 4 to 15, I lived in S.C. (Both 'in the boondocks' and in Columbia.) Red Cross packages sounds good to me!

Wow, I can see bad things in the future for this. Mormons were accused of trying to do this, and it led to something very bad indeed. For those of you who don't know, in 1838 a group of Mormons in Missouri went to Gallatin to vote, and a mob opposed them, fearing the Mormons would vote as a bloc. A fistfight started and both sides embellished the tale until it contained several deaths. Next thing you know, Governor Boggs ordered all the Mormons exterminated, and that led to the Haun's Mill Massacre....
And all that happened despite the Mormons' insistence that they were not there to take over the government. I can't imagine what will happen to folks who have a website explaining that that's exactly what they intend to do!

Scary! I can never believe it when I hear of deliberate genocide, but obviously some people don't value human life as others do.
Groups with strong opinions voting as a bloc should be expected. After groups such as this are formed so that their voice, collectively, is stronger. On a related note are there Alligators in South Carolina, and do they like white meat?

Ulver, what do you mean when you say "they are already jedi"?

I'm just guessing, but I think it was meant to be read as
"They already are (referring to a comment you'd made), Jedi (referring to you), but it's bigger... (the rest of the article)" The comma is a tricky little beast. (I use it way more than is needed.)
