It is my perspective via a well known author's suggestion that there is indeed only one sure way to annihilate Terrorism.

Since Islam is the root of this terrorism dominately, and the fruit is indeed terrorism, we need to take quick action.

I propose, that if the United States is not taken seriously by these radical Muslims, that they would be warned that the United States would fly over their holy sites (Mecca & Medina) and indeed blow these sites up.

This is similar to the USA did in WWII in blowing up "holy" sites where the Emperor reigned. Thus humiliating the emperor and having him announce his defeat on national television denoting that he indeed was no god.

It has been acknowledged, that if their sites are destroyed, thus this kind of terrorism would be destroyed via psycological warefare.

So pray that the governement of the USA would consider this WWII from our greatest generation to instantly rid us of these parasites if they refuse to pester the world.

It never fails to shock me that some people believe things like this. To blow up the holy sites would be worse than terrorism... it'd be exactly like 9/11, only with religion thrown into the mix. That wouldn't stop terrorism... that'd create countless people raring to go after some American throats.

This is really one of the worse ideas I've heard on how to deal with terrorism.

The Twin Towers were not a religious site. There was religion involved, they just didn't blow up a church.

I highly doubt it'd demoralize everyone. When we were attacked on 9/11, I remember just about everyone being out for blood... and we didn't even have a religious site attacked.

I wouldn't say that terrorism or violence is a "radical" idea for islam. However, your idea would turn a smaller conflict into a world war due to the numbers of muslims in the world. In addition you are advocating the murder of millions of non-combants including women and children and in the same breath probably killing very little if any terrorists.

I noticed you left your religion as blank. May I ask what your religion is?

Such threats would incite the whole Islamic world, lose us the support of the allies we have left, and gain us hundreds of millions of enemies. If it was indeed a crusade of agression then they would be justified in defending their religion from such madmen.
In regards to the Japanese, our victory over them had less to do with threats and more to do with the millions of women and children and babies slaughtered, burned alive, by our fire bombs and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (although by then we had essentially won, and it was mostly to terrify the soviets). And that's exactly the sort of strategy, but on a much larger scale, (Think genocide) that would be required to defeat the whole Islamic world, enraged by our threats. Mass slaughter of the innocent. And then the world we be justified in destroying us.
