A desperate plead? (moral, contradiction, followers, hell, America)

I honestly don't know if having our troops there is hurting the region or helping it.

On one hand, I think that leaving the area would cause the creation of more terrorists, the suffering of people, loss of life, and a deep distrust of the American people.

On the other hand, I think that having entered the area in the first place did all of these things as well.

I'm not sure if it was a desperate plea, though. Those in power (again, this is only my opinion) don't know what it means to be desperate, to beg for mercy from the universe. Perhaps they have no sympathy for those not in power because they've never been in that place.

The war has degenerated into a factional guerilla war. Mr Bush as do the military, know from experience that the can not win this type of conflict.
The best they can hope for is to pull out when Their side is on the up.
The war will continue into the distant future.

Support for the war is diminishing. Support for impeachment is growing. If the American people hear about the downing street memo, he could be impeached. Which is why the US media hasn't talked about it much. It is an opportunity for the media to serve its actual purpose, (no, not entertainment) to provide information vital to our freedom.

The knee jerk "let's get 'em!" response that blinded people to the fact that 9/11 had nothing to do with the attack on Iraq.

I think Bush simply ran out of patience trying to find Bin Laden, and decided to take a break, and while were over thier, finish what his dad started, just to try and impress Bush Sr.

Paradoxically, if any such a dreadful event were to occur, America's defender in chief would be sure to claim personal vindication. In such a case, war without end might truly prove to be Mr Bush's lasting bequest to the American people.

Conspiracists claimed that Bush & Co, or some one still to be identified, are those behind 9/11 so as the give the Hawk an excuse to go into Afghan and then Iraq.

Are we then expecting another conspiracy in the name of Al Qaida and another tragedy happening in US? That really scared me
