The Issues
What is the most important issue to you for this Presidental campaign and why? How much effect does it have on who you will vote for?

Not an issue per se, but I'm concerned that seats on the bench of the Supreme Court will open for the presidential winner who will appoint replacements. It is important to me that we not descend into an era of judical "dark ages".

Well, for me the most important issue is.. (not gay rights, I know you're shocked!)... but the environment. To me, nothing is more important than how we're going to take care of our home.

My main concern is somewhat non-specific but affects all issues. Our elected officials have increasingly found it beneficial to acheive their agendas by lying or, shall we use the favorite politically correct term "Misspeaking" on the facts.

I honestly don't think much of the environment when we have so many other problems going on right now, poverty and the war in particular. As soon as we straighten out a few of the more prominent issues, like aforementioned, then we can worry about planting more trees and pretty-ing up the place.
Gay marriage is my major concern. Unless it's affecting you in someway, shut up and leave it. I believe it will split our nation like slavery did, and civil war is bad.
