Voted for GWBush for president myself included. We should have been able to see and indeed I did see and was still deceived by the religious rhetirec of the religious right.
Hypocrites elected a hypocrite to be president twice.Our first clue should have been when Karla Faye Tucker executed in Texas when He was governer of the great State O Texas. He had (the power) a chance to grant her clemency and commute her sentence to life in prison. Her life was in his hands and he gave her up. For those who don't know or remember, Karla faye Tucker is the pick axe murderer. She being high and insane by drug use, killed a pair in bed with a pick axe. She was converted to Christ Jesus according to reports. And was transformed on death row and If I'm not mistaken was in ministry and in the testimony of the Lord. The glory of God being revealed in her life. As her day with death approached her fame and renown began to grow. It was appearant that the character which killed the couple in bed was no longer there, Just the testimony of Jesus. This Bush cut off by allowing the law to slay her who was a new creature in Christ. He therefore cut off Jesus; by denying her a life sentence which is what Jesus gives us when we receive him into our lives, he clearly demonstrates that he like cain will condemn the innocent, and kill that which is holy: He will sign a measure which may prolong the life of Terry Schiavo which I am not against;but I am informed that the measure may well be unconstitutional. Do you see the difference; when he had a chance to honor Jesus in Karla he turns his back on that which is holy and cuts it off. But now before a national audience he will break the law for someone who has only a glimmer of hope, only a spectre of a chance to glorify Jesus by getting off her bed and going home because I have seen no servant of the lord step up to the plate and represent Jesus in the form where she is restored whole,Completely healed. Those of us who witnessed this first hand, mainly the people in the state of Texas are therefore guilty of not recognizing the nature of satan in him for only satan would kill or cut off the testimony of the Lord Jesus. we are responsible for the honour and glory and praise and the blessing of the name of Jesus. We praise God for that which is Good. And when a person like Karla Faye Tucker wants to spend the rest of her life in prison praising God we should ablige her. If she was faking we being Christian would have mercy on her, for this is always our nature. mercy. This we did not see in Gw Bush, In this is his true nature revealed. Oppurtunity to use the law on Jesus' behalf, without breaking the law. No Christian will kill his brother; we are not allowed to even kill our enemies. Does anyone have any idea what the mark of the beast is yet? According to my knowledge it's already been here, for a long time. If this is true what seat (throne) would satan create or establish for himself to occupy so that he might make all nations to worship him? |

I'm hoping to start a poll, but I'm scared of the debate section, since I would want the people who posted there to be only those that voted for Bush... Ah, well, I'll start it anyway!

The law is the law. It doesn't say that if you change after being convicted that the law no longer applies.

The law is as you says but the Lord is Jesus and his nature is love hence he did not condemn. The governer of texas had a chance to do the works of jesus not serve the law but Christ not slay him This is why the apostle Paul taught that the law can make no man perfect. We need the law of grace. If this law of grace was working in bush he would have granted her clemency which was legal to do. The law even allowed him to make a judgment. His judgment reveals that he has no confidence in the conversion promised by Jesus else he would by (christian) nature granted her live in prison. The chance to do good by the law was given to him and he chose to kill.

So don't have laws? I prefer laws they give us order. She killed, he executed.

If there is order then why did we and still do have chaos in our nation, strife and turmoil and hate which will lead to cival war like before. will there be order then or just picking up the pieces. I this thread I wish show the pattern which we (religious right) and our president supposingly believing in Jesus while we still place our confidence in the works of man, rather than in the works of Jesus. Thus showing that in this bush there is no confidence in the work of God neither is there any love for that thing which pleases Jesus the most. We who are in Christ preserve that which is good. Not destroy it like we discard and throw away every day food we don't want. Karla had some food in her mouth which while in this world gave glory to God. Even from her prison cell God could use her to speak to the hearts of those still struggling with understanding the gospel. What she did in her druken state is the same that Phineas did in the wilderness to stop adulderers; though she was not intending to do the same for that purpose today still Phinaes did the same thing. read your bible emoaref.

If I remember right, Karla herself did not ask to be given clemency. Being a born-again Christian, she realized that she still deserved to be punished by the law for her actions. Christ certainly forgives, but that does not mean we are suddenly 'above the law'---as in man-made law---just because we are forgiven.
Maybe I'm wrong about her not asking for clemency---I just thought I remember reading an article where she stated quite clearly that she knew she deserved the punishment she was sentenced to. All that being said, however, she was an amazing testimony to the life-changing power of God. ![]()

For the believer, death is the portal to a life far superior to this one.
Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 22 If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! 23 I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;
