I certainly would not advocate the public actually shooting anyone. Just waving the guns about and scowling menacingly should give them pause.

I see nothing totalitarian about ensuring the safety of our people by preventing people from owning objects that are not yet fully able to be responsible for.

I agree. First sign if irresponsible behavior I'd say snatch their guns and place those folks on the "no sell" list.

The guns deaths that occur in this country yearly prove that humanity is not yet responsible enough to own guns.

I also said that many hunters if not most, dressing up in cammo are playing GI Joe and living in a fantasy land.

Can you please show a poll or something proving this. Ive never met a hunter who was in a fantasy world while hunting. If someone wanted to play GI Joe, they would be a bounty hunter.

Unfortunately, many times the "street punk" turns out to be a fellow drunk, a guy looking at your girls bottom ect ect.....

Even in some small cities, gangs are becoming more common. I now of at least 5 in the city i live in. Also, one of my friends who used to be involved in gangs has lost a few friends who was killed by street punk gang people. A knife or dagger can be very useful if your trained, but realistically, a gun will be fired before the knife can stab. Fantasizing about defeating the attacking street punk while he is holding you up with a gun to your face is something that happens in the movies. Its very, very, stupid and dangerous to try to resist armed robery.
