When was this? I used to watch O'Reilly as well (I haven't watched hardly any TV in months)....I don't remember ever seeing an atheist on...except one time, when he was talking with some guy from the "Godless Americans" PAC...but I don't remember O'Reilly getting on his case.

Well it isn't a news show, if that's what you mean...it's an editorial show. What do you mean "it's not a no-spin zone"? I like it specifically because he doesn't spin the issues all the time, and won't tolerate it from his guests (note the different between spinning an issue and giving your opinion on it).

i've seen his show more often than i care to mention...he calls it the no-spin zone, we report you decide, blah blah slogan slogan.

Bill is reading a report about the iraq war and how the media has covered it...here's what he says...
"A new study from the Project for Excellence in Journalism at Columbia University examined the
Iraq War coverage. On cable news it broke down like this:

38% of the stories Fox News ran were favorable to the war effort
62% neutral, negative, or not able to be classified

Over at CNN 20% of the stories were positive
80% were neutral, negative or not classifiable

And at MSNBC just 16% positive
84% neutral, negative, or not classifiable.

So once again, you can decide which network is fair and balanced."

what he has done here is pointed out only the positive and not mentioned the rest of the statistical data...
CNN: 20% Positive 41% Neutral 23% Negative 15% Multi-subject
Fox: 38% Positive 39% Neutral 14% Negative 9% Multi-subject
MSNBC: 16% Positive 28% Neutral 17% Negative 40% Multi-Subject

also the same report had this to say about his beloved Fox which he didn't point out...

That's a good point, jewscout. I actually saw that particular show you mentioned, and I remember thinking: "Wait a minute! He lumped all the negative, neutral, and unclassifiable stories together...to be 'fair and balanced' you WANT to have more neutral and unclassifiable stories." Thanks for the info.
