Is there a reason you're spamming this forum with this same hateful post over and over? BTW, it is off topic here too, this is the Political forum.

So what you're saying is that God wiped out Soddom and Gomorrah because the people there were tolerant and accepting of people who were different from them? That's a different spin on that story. I have to say, wiping out populations for showing compassion and understanding toward others doesn't reflect well on God. Sounds like a bit of a bigoted, irrational git, really. Not quite the attributes you'd want in a supreme being, I would think. But anyway, I wouldn't worry about the homosexuals putting your life in danger if I were you. I'm pretty sure God rained destruction down on the two cities mentioned because he couldn't find a certain number of righteous men (and by righteous - assuming you're correct about the actual facts of the story - I mean, hysterical, bigoted and hateful) to make it worth his while not to do it. I'm sure you and your ilk will ensure that God never has a shortage of the 'righteous' to stay his hand in the future.

If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. If you're happy and you know it and you really wanna show it, if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
It feels very good to know that so many people have come to accept our right to live as equals in this society. It wouldn't have been possible without the support and compassion of the many heterosexual Americans who are helping this society to cast away the prejudices of old, and we also owe many thanks to the churches that have spoken up for us. A great deal of work is left to be done, but this milestone gives people like Maize, myself, and many millions of others hope that we will one day live in a society that judges the loves that we form over the course of our lifetimes as they deserve to be judged. It gives us hope that the children of this generation will be able to see us as individuals, each with unique dreams, passions, goals, and personalities. To the heterosexual people of this forum and across the globe who have helped us to come this far, we owe you a debt of gratitude. It is only through solidarity and unity in our quest for peace and equality, worldwide, that we, as a world, will put aside our differences and find a way to see each other as brothers and sisters in the same cause. I hope that the gay community, in the future, will be able to repay a world that has shown a willingness to see into their hearts far enough to discover that their loves are as special and important as any other by being among the staunchest advocates for a unified and peaceful world. Thank you. |
