Jesus didn't say we have to obey ceasar. ceasar claimed to be God and Jesus didn't say we should worship him either. u need to read the new testament before u make such assertions, that would help u understand christianity a whole lot better. president madison is one of my ancestors and i know he wasn't a deist. he wanted freedom of religion to be included in the constitution also. we have a national tree, bird, flag, etc. our national religion continues to be Christianity. freedom of religion allows others to co-exist. u have the free-will, inalienable right to believe as u wish, and so do i.

I beg your pardon - what is Ceasar's is obedience to Ceasar's law. How do you think taxes are established but by passing a law? You have a Christion obligation to obey the laws of the society where you are. I can't imagine how you could be so far off.
