Well, me too! But I went to constitutional law for the definitions of family. Marriage, as you define it, may be important to you but it seems not important in the Constitution for establishing a family Wasn't a family one of the prime reasons for marriage?

But you apparently never found the marriages for property, for international alliance, or a brokered marriage which are all "traditional"

America was founded on the Christian Faith. So no-gay-marriage will not harm America but rather preserve the faith our founding fathers had. I see no Danger to the Constitution.

Time and time again I have had to correct this statement. America was founded NOT on the Christian faith (small "f") but on common law It IS a nation of Christians NOT a Christian nation

No offence but it was. The first American document was the Mayflower Compact. I believe you're overlooking that fact.

The NATION was founded by the Articles of Confederation and replaced by the Constitution. The second COLONY was founded by the Mayflower Compact and replaced by a British document.. The first COLONY was founded by a British Document as were quite a few other COLONIES

the Iriquois great law pre-dates any European/American documents... it was recorded in wampum and still exists several centuries after its production.
Eaven older documents exist written by Aztec, Mayan, Olmec and Toltec civilizations.

The first contenental congress opened with a call to prayer that was ignored by the deligation.... no prayer was ever spoken at the Continental Congress as they could not agree on who's prayer to use.
