Obviously since the people who originally birthed the country were Christian there is a large Christian influence, but that doesn't mean that Americans are bound to live by a certain Biblical standard. The words of the founders clearly state that they had no intention of doing so anyway.

No, The US was not founded on any christian belifes nor do I believe that the majority of the people in the US are christian. Just because you see kids wearing gothic makeup does not make them Wiccans! I wonder TRULY if people were honest what they would say they believe in? This country was bulit on Deism plain & simple. For those who don't know what Desim is "One who believes in the existence of a God or supreme being but denies revealed religion, basing his belief on the light of nature and reason."The pledge of Allegiance?
