True..somehow in the hustle and bustle of this life we do end up loosing ourselves. Eventually it is hard to distinguish between whether we are doing things that we believe in or we are doing things that others have told us is the right thing to do.

If all of us lived out what we believe to be the truth, the world will be much different.

How many times do people tell us...dont be like this...dont be like that...be happy...dont be sad...look at the bright side....and the list goes on and on. Around every corner there is a 'qualified' head doctor to interpret our lives and ourselves for us.

I understand your need for wanting to discover self. My question is can the search reveal something that we are not willing to forgive? What if we dont even like what we find. And what are we willing to do with what we find?

Or...maybe when we find ourselves, we are glorious and wonderful and full of beauty.

What do you think a man will find when he turns the light upon himself?

I wish I was more skilled in using language to portray a mental picture in words.

I think trudging ahead would be the courageous thing to do. But for those who have trudged ahead, did they discover that they were more than they ever thought they were, or did they discover they are less than they though they were?
