Do truth and fact necessarily coincide? Why or why not?

But can there be truth without fact?

Excellent, Patty. Co-dependents indeed, spouses of each other; truth and fact.

I have heard RS talk about it before. It has something to do with personal beliefs, or something regarding the intangible.

I always thought that truth and fact were the same thing... People here have told me otherwise, but I don't understand the differnece... How could something be said to be true if it wasn't?? I just don't get it...
So, truth is like whatever you believe then?? I just don't see how that could be right, because then there'd be tons of contradictory truths... I thought the truth is something that is... you know... The truth... I'm so confused.
