Would anyone like to discuss it?

Well, at first I wanted to make fun of the idea. Then I felt violently opposed to it. But now it just seems obvious.

An unfortunate reality but not one that I think we have to live with.
I've heard people say that the problem is certainty but I'm not sure that is entirely accurate. The problem is being certain when one is not warranted to be certain. More generally the problem is one of not matching the strength with which we hold a belief to that which can be logically generated from the apparent justification. Even more generally, it is a problem of being more concerned about truth than justification.
