I'll drink a 1554 and read a little more Hegel in your honor. My wife's brother is defending his dissertation on Hegel in a few months. So it's a double celebration. Heck, I'll have two 1554s.

Sounds cool, but what the heck is a 1554?

I wonder if there's a cure for that.

Surely it's a 1664 with a twist.
P.S. Hegel sucks.

Nate, philosophy has one difference from religion. You can find merit in more than one school of thought without feeling you have shifted loyalty to your aspirations of the first group. For instance you could find merit in existentialist writings and utilitarianism writing.
Which existentialists have you been reading? After reading your posts on here about the existence of God I mentally categorized your idea of God akin to that of Soren Kirkland 's idea of God that he explains in fideism footnote: What is Fideism? |
