Thats a different idea, and I think its way cooler than quantum mechanics dominated discrete multi-dimensional space too. But its not as cool as infinite regress, because of the vastly greater amount of life that could exist if that were true.

I believe current theory suggests that there are infinite universes outside of ours, but I really can't see any reason there can't be infinite universes inside of ours, instead. Or even both for that matter.

They already are exploring the possibility of preon nuggets out there. Smaller than quarks.
Spearheaded by physicists Josgesh Pati and Abdus Salam (1974) who speculated that preons could help explain proliferation of quarks and leptons. Followed up by Hansson and Sandin (1999-2005). Still theoretical though. Needs further research.

Well i look at it like this. If you were to split atoms down into ever smaller pieces like you say 'quantum levels'; then would it not be true that you could not pinpoint the center of the universe? I look out the window and see a never ending void. I guess that in coercion with what i said would argue that quantum levels are real. Dunno really; but ironically the answer seems plain to see lol.
