I would have a some concerns with voting for a devote, practicing Muslim because of the turmoil with terrorism, 9/11, the war, Islamic threats, etc. over the past 5-6 years. Not that I wouldn't vote for one, I'd just scrutinize them very closely. Wouldn't we all? |

If Obama was a Muslim, the Democratic Party wouldn't have touched him with a ten foot pole.

Obama's father was not a practicing Muslim. He never lived in a country that was under Sharia law, and neither did Obama. Why do you keep repeating this nonsense? If Muslim law says you are an infidel, does that mean you're an infidel?

Well, of course, I'm an infidel. But Starfish isn't an infidel; she's a believer -- just not a Muslim believer.

Quote:
no starfish is an infidel not a muslim your an infidel First used in Middle English circa 1460 (adjective, noun), from the Middle French infidèle, and from Latin infidelis "unfaithful," later "unbelieving," In the 15c. meaning "a non-Christian" (especially a Saracen); later "one who does not believe in religion" (1526). Also used to translate Arabic kafir, from a root meaning "to disbelieve, to deny," strictly referring to all non-Muslims but virtually synonymous with "Christian"; hence, from a Muslim or Jewish point of view, "a Christian".[5] it eems everybody is an infidel to everybody else its the only thing we all have in common lol

The only thing that would change my opinion (not that it matters in a political sense, anyway), would be if he had tried to hide his true faith, in order to gain more social and political support.
