It's fairly well established that the super-delegates will go to the candidate with the most delegates at the end, which, mathmatically, is almost certainly to be Obama. Hillary can only argue for the nod if she wins the popular vote, which will be very difficult and even then, they system favors the candidate with the most delegates.

Nutshell, I want to believe you are right, but common sense tells me that Bill Clinton and the good old boys will make an effort to the contrary. I'm a realist and do not look at politics with rose colored glasses. If you read the rules of the Democratic National convention, the votes means very little unless you get the amount necessary to secure the nomination.

If you think they will not change things, just watch the "do overs" in Florida. This was suppose to be a coronation for Hillary and she will DO ANYTHING to get reelected, er..... I mean elected.

The DNC decision to "do over" Florida and Michigan is not to get Hillary elected, but to give The People their voice. When those states were penalized, no one was predicting what has come to pass.

Will Hillary mae a run for it? Of course, and if she wins the popular vote she has a very legitimate argument. If she doesn't win the popular vote then the democrats will not select her. To go against the delegates would cause the party to implode.

Should they have not thought about this when they changed the date of their primaries?

So if Obama has the most delegates and Hillary has the popular vote, (is that even possible?) no matter who is the Democratic nominee, how will bending or changing the rules help the party? I can see no possible solution that will keep the party united, unless Hillary is the V.P.

Yes, they was something else I was trying to get at. I just find it strange that he was able to raise that much money in such a short amount of time. How much of that money do yu think came from the middle east and his friends?

Well first off, do you have any evidence for such a claim other than silly propaganda blogs, or are you making this up as you go along?

Secondly, Let' s assume that Obama is being funded by special intersts: Since when is it ok for one party to have special interests and not the other? Especially when talking about the middle east! I suppose Bush has no ties to any Arab oil tycoons whatsoever, right?
