I would suggest that that is because the evidence is anything but inconclusive or unfounded and that all debate on the matter as such is redundant and thus closed, if you chose to ignore all the data I can think of no other reason than ostrich syndrome to account for it.

There IS consensus. The evidence has been deemed conclusive by the vast majority of the scientific community. To continue to claim that there is not is a denial of reality. And it is not vilification to point out when someone is in denial of reality.

What's particularly galling about this is that real people are already suffering while you "debate" the reality of global climate change. If you want to debate whether God exists or not, have at it. Debate until your heart's content. But this affects real people and the time is urgent. The rising sea levels and melting permafrost is creating a wave of climate refugees right now. They are losing their lands and cultures as we speak and you are claiming that it's not happening. Such is the situation that it's rather hard to not give in to anger about it.

That's your response to people losing their lands and being forced to emigrate to other areas? That really is the ostrich syndrome as Halcyon said.

i'm all for conserving energy but i'm not going to buy into governments using global warming for more taxes, laws, and control.

*sigh*

i'd suggest you put half as much energy reading into this as you do into global warming propoganda. it's not the best resource but it's enough and i can't be a$$ed to find the better ones.
