Flip flopping

Well, it's begun already. Far more than a year away from the election, and the accusations of flip flopping are flying faster than feet at the beach.

I myself am very fond of flip flops. Why, I bought a pair just yesterday, except mine are blue:



Flip flops are very practical for use in Atlanta's warm climate and on the Lake Michigan beach in the summer.

i hate thongs of both types.

but these are very cute indeed.


p.s. maybe what this country needs is a Flip Flop Party.

I have always prefered my birkenstocks. Or, if the surface permits it, my own bare feet. Sometimes even the klompen my grampa gave me work decently in the right weather.

I outgrew my klompen years ago, and my mum turned them into planters she uses on the back porch.

And to keep this on a political subject, I believe we are foolish indeed to not just hire the Dutch to solve problems of flooding and surge in New Orleans.

Brilliant! We would not only get New Orleans back, but quite possibly half of the gulf!

And to des: Me a liberal? Possibly. I get pretty conservative sometimes. Rest assured though. My parents wear birkenstocks and they are some of the most liberal people I know.
