Well I was handed a pamphlet while walking to work today and it wasn't from a JW or a Mormon. It was for Scientology.

We all know that Al Sharpton is quick to be in the center of any racism towards African-Americans, (point and case: Don Imus) but I am unable to comprehend how he believes he has the right to oppress other minorities and see it as fine.
I think we can determine that Al Sharpton is indeed a hypocritical idiot.

Sharpton said that he is against Mormonism because of their anti-African American stance in the past. He had no right to take a shot at Romney's belief in God though, even though the bigotry of Mormonism's stance in the past is wrong as well.

i think mitt romney is gonna have to be careful how he responds to this and although it was wrong and a bigoted statement on the part of al sharpton -- he is not gonna let it go no matter what -- mitt needs to really be careful because al does have some influence with people and some of those people vote --- but using ridiculous ideology against a candidate was a hit below the belt

The people who Al Sharpton influences to vote would never vote for Romney in the first place.

Why is it ok to make bigoted attacks on LDS but if this was said of a Jew or Muslim there would be immediate and serious repercussions?

It seems to be a position similarly true of the Southern Baptist Convention.
