Honestly, if someone changes their positions to the positions that I support, I'm all in favor of it. The fact that Romney was more liberal on some issues than he is today actually is comforting to me. That means when he is president he might be more moderate on social issues than our last president has been.

On the ENDA, he said that he doesn't support the legislation. That doesn't mean he doesn't support the ideas behind it.

I believe Mitt Romney will make a fine President. If Hillary gets the nomination, he will make her look like the buffoon she is. Now if Obama gets nominated, it will be a close election.

The problem with Mitt Romney is that he changes his mind to suit his political aspirations, which is sad and pathetic. He was for abortion when running in the liberal state of Massachussets but has since changed his mind now that he wants the votes of the religious right. I know that many politicians do this to some degree, but I have NEVER seen a flip-flopper of the likes of Mitt Romney in my life. He makes John Kerry look like Honest Abe. I would like to see Romney get the Republican nomination just to see how they defend him when allegations of serious flip-flopping are brought up. They blasted Kerry in this regard and he was a novice in changing his mind compared to Romney...

The real problem with this sort of blatent pandering is that it won't stop when he gets elected. And then who will he be pandering to? It won't be the american people, because we have already seen that he is quite willing to sell them out for the sake of his own advancement - as that's what pandering is.

Also, pandering is basically lying. It's telling the voters whatever he thinks they want to hear to get their votes. And if he's willing to tell lies to become president, then it's a safe bet that he'll be willing to continue lying to get whatever he wants as president. We already have one president who has routinely lied to the American people to get what he wanted, and look at the disasterous results of his tenure!!! Do we really want another known liar and panderer in office?

God help us!

The good news is that Romney hasn't got much of a chance of actually getting elected. I'm far more frightened of Hillary Clinton being elected then I am of Romney.

Are you serious? Romney changed his position on ONE some-what important issue, and he really didn't change his position. He just changed how he felt the government should be involved. A lot of us who are 'pro-life' or against gay marriage are conflicted when it comes to whether or not the government should legislate our beliefs. Romney stated that he has always been personally pro-life, but he didn't feel that the government should make the choice on it for women. When he saw what the pro-choice policies had done in terms of devaluing human life, he realized that he'd made a mistake. I really don't think this amounts to him being the biggest flip-flopper in the history of American politics. Yes, it could possibly be pandering, but he's pandering to me so more power to him.

Anyone who believes that Romney is a bigger flip-flopper than Kerry has been blinded by the liberal media. It is the media that has been campaigning harder against Romney than anyone else because they know he could win the presidency if he won the nomination. Mitt Romney is the most qualified leader we have running for the presidency. Go Mitt!
