The US is going to have an immigration problem so long as businesses need immigrant labor, and the government doesn't provide enough legal visas to meet the demand.

I find the American debate about immigration very fascinating. It's so much more diverse than the situation in Europe.
In Bosnia, for example, we have two types of immigrants. The first is refugees, most notably Bosniaks from Serbia, Serbs from Croatia, and Albanians from Kosovo. Then we also have normal immigrants, but because of our economy they're generally very wealthy, business owners from the Near and Middle East. We also accept Arab women without question. If you're an Arab woman, who for any reason fears for her safety or life in the Middle East, you can come to Bosnia without any questions asked. There are also programs in place to teach them about all the rights and freedoms that are available to them here, if they would like to take advantage of them. None of these groups cause too much controversy, but there are negative stereotypes associated with each. For example, Serbs from Croatia are viewed as squatters stealing the homes of Bosnia's own refugees driven abroad during the war. Middle Eastern businessman are seen as bringings of hardship because they buy a house on X Street and suddenly everything else on that street costs $10,000 more and Bosnians can afford it. Etc...
