Why would we want to confuse anyone with facts? People are polarised on this issue and I do not see many sitting on the fence.

I don't think anyone can deny that now that we are in Iraq, people have came there to do battle with us. They don't have to wear a uniform or play by any rules.

I am sure that the service men that were captured recently, were treated fairly under the Geneva convention before they were killed and dumped into the river.

I suppose you would prefer us leaving Iraq and have them follow us home.

Are you suggesting that America should give up following the rules of war simply because we have an enemy who doesn't follow those rules?

I suppose you would prefer us leaving Iraq and have them follow us home.

Your supposition doesn't follow from anything I've said, Rick, but I'll answer it anyway. There are few, if any, experts on this subject who say that the President's notion the terrorists will follow us home has any merit. Of course, listening to experts is not something this administration or the Right in general does well. That's part of why we're in the mess we're in.

I am not going to directly make a statement like that, you could simply label me as a kook and dismiss any opposing arguments then.

Thanks for answering anyway. As someone who was drafted and did follow the rules and was not allowed to win a previous war, my opinions may be skewed.
