Yes, the docudrama did not jive with the 9-11 commission report, so that is rewriting history in it's own way. The problem, to me, is the responsibility not of making certain presidents look good, but to portray the facts in a dramatic way. You don't rewrite history because it makes good TV. Clinton has been up front in saying some signs were missed, something Bush has yet to do and we know his administration missed signs also. However, regardless of the politics, people remember what they see, and to skew this show to add things that did not happen, whatever the motivation, would literally change history or plant false history in people's minds, because they SAW it. This needs to be rewritten to stick to the documentation to truly commemorate the event of that day.

Can't remember. They had to get permission in order to fire and the permission was denied. I'd ask the guy but I can't remember who it was. My roommate and I were talking to him last year and my roommate can't remember who it was either (although he remembers the circumstances). I know it's not the greatest evidence, but I've been racking my brain all weekend trying to remember who it was and I can't. He was sitting in our living room when he told us though (if that means anything).
