I think, for me, it's an issue of how much they knew.
Jonny, I sympathize with what you're saying (or at least I hope I do) but I would look to the Republicans' reaction to movies such as "Farienheit" in order to gauge what an appropriate one would be for the Democrats. I wouldn't expect either political party to cheer on a movie that casts them in a bad light, nor frown on one that casts them in a good one. Then again, my opinion of the members of various political parties (on all 'sides') has sharply risen since meeting some of the posters here on RF, so maybe my hopes for such political parties will rise in the future! ![]()

They were going to use this for schools. How terrible.
It shouldn't air as a "docu-drama", unless they're going to take out every fictional scene- which is basically the jist of the movie.

Actually they could fix the "Schlock-U-Drama" easily.
You see... They could take each scene they have taken creative license with and insert a CGI effect over the existing image. A Pinocchio type scenario would be appropriate. Say a character is chatting... and his nose suddenly grows to a foot long. Viewers would understand quickly and quite humorously that this was one of the fabled, fictional scenes. Who knows? They just might get an Emmy for Best Comedy. No doubt, they are already in the running for Fastest Editing.
