I certainly know enough about Islam to understand precisely why I reject Islam. That said, I would never think of saying what was said in the piece you have presented.

![]() Can you translate this seemingly intelligent sentence into English? I've read it several times and can't make sense out of it.

Honestly, what an idiot. "Should we vote out Keith Ellison because he's a Muslim? No! We should vote him out because he's a Muslim!"
Someday they'll look back at the teabaggers as we look back at the Know-Nothings. And really, they're the same thing.

I like Muslims. I have even started reading the Koran. I believe freedom of religion means all religions. I support the TEA party because I believe in smaller government and lower taxes, not Ignorance and bigotry.

I have a real problem with Islam too.
Most Muslims seem OK though. Please join the Libertarian Party & run for office.....you'll get my vote. Hey, Smoke....if it's OK to call Tea Partiers "teabaggers", then is it OK to refer to gay organizations as "b@!!* slammers"? I'm not a big fan of derisive sexually oriented names, but just examining fairness & social convention.

They gave themselves that name first. And if you want to call gay people names, it's not going to bother me. I got used to that years ago.
