Think of a black hole. If you sent an indestructible clock towards its center, what would happen? As it got closer and closer, the clock would slow down, as relativity says it should. When it reaches the center, it would stop. Thus, no time.

A black hole is just a mini version of the big bang, that is instead of a large amount of matter (a star sized chunk), ALL of the matter of the universe was in a very small space. Relativity would still hold, thus no time 'before' this matter exploded.

If the clock stops then there is no time?
Does it also work that way when the battery dies?
So time is relative to the localized area it is in?

Yes, time is relative. So if everything is inside the black hole, and your reference is outside of it, then 'time' for everything has stopped.
