Hmm... I wonder if my faith would qualify, in practice, as a Jedi Consular to Master Vigil's Jedi Guardian, since I lack his martial arts knowledge and experience.

I especially liked the explanation about the 'Jedi Spirit' level. I'd always wondered why Qui-Gon didn't go zappy-bye like the others. *sniffles at the memory*

I always thought qui gonn didn't become a Jedi Spirit because he wasn't ready to die. It happened unknowingly and quick. Becoming Jedi Spirit I think is extremely difficult, he just wasn't ready.

True, but you could say that for a lot of the Jedi. You'd think that as a Jedi, you would be prepared to die at any moment.

Obviously Obi-Wan was ready to die, and Yoda knew his death was imminent. I don't know about Anakin, though. There's a difference between knowing you're going to die and being prepared for death.

as it says, i am a jedi. but really, jediism is not about wielding the force and making a lightsaber, it is about finding ones self and helping the helpless, and everyone else. right now, i am just a padawan and am working on the jedi code and such at the Jedi Realist academy, you guys should check it out.

Okay, I have a question. If the miniclorians (?sp) have so much to do with the jedi power, how is it that Anakin or Vader can still be so powerful when they are missing all of those body parts? Certainly that makes a difference in how many of these things are in their system.
