Two things:

First, I have changed my mind on the Rasta forum. I would appreciate it very much if it could be created would be happy to be the moderator for it.

I am still working on getting some more Rastas on here.

Also, Kemetic Orthodoxy has not really been mentionedon the forums. Two links:

www.netjer.org
www.kemet.org

I will see if they would like a forum as well.

One Love

We've talked about this before, but how about expanding on religions we already have? For example, creating subforums for Orthodox, Conservative, Reform and Messianic under Judaism, and Shi'ite, Sunni and Sufi subforums under Islam. Also adding subforums under Buddhism for Mahayana, Theravada, Vajrayana (aka Tantric or Tibetian), and Zen Buddhism. Maybe also create a forum for Indigenous Religions, which would include our already popular Native American forum, and expand to allow discussion on Aboriginal Beliefs (South Pacific, Australia), First Nations Beliefs (Canada/Alaska), African Tribal Religions, Shamanism, etc.

Also, (you're going to shoot me) but I think that Humanism, Atheism and possibly Agnosticism, Deism and Satanism, should be put in a forum called, "Secular Philosophies" and moved out of the "Alternative Beliefs" forum. I think there should also be a forum called "Earth-Based Religions" which would include the newly formed Indigenous Religions forum, Paganism and Wicca. This would leave in the "Alternative Beliefs" (which I think should be renamed "Modern Beliefs") forum, New Age, Unitarian Universalism and Scientology.
I would like to suggest that "Satanism" be be moved out of "secular beliefs" and placed under "modern beliefs." Somewhat like Unitarianism, the label "Satanism" includes both atheists and theists.

"Satanism" is actually a category of religions/ideologies/whatever, not just one single religion. There are many different kinds of Satanists, in two main categories: symbolic and theistic.

Moreover, the number of theistic Satanists has been growing lately. Theistic Satanists may even be the majority by now, at least online, though we still have quite a bit of catching up to do in terms of real-world organization and publicity. Many of the biggest and most popular online Satanist forums are theistic.

Dunno how many people here are Otherkin or know about it or what...but...um...uh...*forgets where she was going with that thought*. It's more of a spirituality than an actual religion, and I wouldn't know where to put it anyway, since 'kin ascribe to a wiiiide array of religions. So...um...nevermind XD.
