That's the same link. If you click on it though it asks you to create an account. I guess the link I gave wasn't broken, but it doesn't take you directly to the article.

I think with all the science today we should be finding lots of lost places. I'd like to read more on Atlantis has anyone read a really good book on it that they just couldn't put down?

I would reccomend Plato's Timaeus and Critias. Those books are where the concept comes to us from, and there aren't any other ancient sources on the subject.

Atlantis is such an interesting idea. To think that there was a place that was so much farther advanced is tantalizing.

That idea that aliens could've had a part in it just makes it that much more interesting. It's like a fairy tale that just might be true.

there is a book called the fingerprints of the gods by graham hancock which opens up to the theory of atlantis. in the book he talks of a map and provides a picture that was drawn up in the 1500's, and the author of the map insists that he got it from older sources. it is a map of the costline of antartica. it talks of the how every culture has a flood myth, and how the gods from the ancient world for some reason seem to be the same beings. like they came to the people in the same means, taught them the same things, farming, writing, civilization in general and left the people. all these cultures also state that when the gods were with them it was a golden age. me i thought it was a very good book and would incourage anyone to read it. all in all just some very intresting things and alot of hidden history in it.
